CALENDARS FOR 2012
The music department will be selling beautiful calendars, produced by a former student of the Hansens, called Images of Design.  Pictures feature nature scenes and each page has a Bible verse and a “Steps to Christ” quote.  The price will be $15 each, with 50% profit going directly to the music department.  These will be available at the Talent Program as well as through the Hansen’s at the school.

TUESDAY HOT LUNCHES
|Anyone wishing to do a Tuesday Hot Lunch may now call in and sign up.  Money MUST go towards a school trip or project.  We have available January 24, April 3 & 10 and all of May.

SAT INFORMATION
January 29:  Deadline is Dec. 30; late fees apply through Jan. 13.  Must apply with an application and a signed clergy letter.  See Mrs. Muth for the letter.  Next test will be March11.  May 6 is the next and final test given at PAA; please note that this is during the MUSIC TOUR!!!  March 11 will be your last chance to take the SAT if you are in Music, Band or Choir.

ACT INFORMATION
February 12:  Deadline is January 7; late fees apply through Jan. 21.  Must register online at www.actstudent.org. Choose Sunday test option.  Our High School Code is 052361.  You may choose to take the writing portion, or not.  Final ACT of the year will be April 15.

SENIOR PARENTS
Make sure your student is getting their senior portraits done.  We need a formal and a casual picture.  ALSO, don’t forget about your favorite childhood picture.  You may give us this picture by email (brendamuth@aol.com), disk or a hard copy for us to scan.  Tributes need to be emailed or on a disk.   The deadline is the first part of Dec. for this.  PLEASE GET THESE TO US ASAP.  Thanks to those who have gotten this into us.

PAA & PAC COOKBOOK
Start searching out your best recipes!  It’s been a while since we had a cookbook, and I know that there are many good cooks and bakers among our parents.  Please make sure your recipes are vegetarian, or can use meat substitutes.  Please submit ASAP before January 30, 2012.  Log ONTO:  www.typensave.com and use the group login:  paaws, and the password: 33uad to add your 3-5 recipes!  We are hoping to get a link set up on our web site soon.  The money raised for this cookbook will go toward Financial Aid.  You may find the link on our web site.

PINEWOOD DERBY
This ultra-fun event is scheduled for January 28, right after Sundown, around 5:40 PM for your check in.  Juniors will be selling great food.  You won’t want to miss the excitement!

MUSIC DEPT. FUNDRAISER
The annual MUSIC FUNDRAISER will be January 29, 5 PM.  Tickets will be available soon in the school and church office, $25 each.  A Tour of Italy is the delicious theme!
