ALUMNI WEEKEND REPORT (Mar 6-8):
"Now class, here are the rules." These were the words spoken by veteran Bible teacher and now Principal Ken Preston to his "Bible Class" on Daniel 3. This class was being presented in front of around 150 church members for Alumni week-end Sabbath School class and the 10 member "class" which he was addressing consisted of alumni. The classes represented ranged from a current 8th grader Chloe Mallory through Rick Mautz from the '60s and included the current PAA school board chairman Dan Roberts.

WARM WEATHER CLOTHES:

Just a reminder that tanks and spaghetti straps are not allowed.  Sleeveless tops must be at least 2” wide and showing NO straps.  Guys are not allowed to wear sleeveless shirts, aka basketball tops with big gaping armholes.  Shorts are to be no shorter than half-way between the crotch and the knee.  Please help us out by checking your student’s attire BEFORE they leave for school.   Thank you.

SPRING PICTURES:
Please remember to return the packages and/or payment ASAP.  Academy- return yours to the front office.  Everyone else will return theirs to their classroom.  If we return 90% of our payments/pictures we will be entered in a drawing for $10,000!

BASKETBALL CAMP:
June 22-26 at PAA for those going into grades 1-12.  Applications are available at the front desk.

SAVEMART AND S-MART:
There are three ways to score school money/items through their programs. 1) We sell their scrip cards in the office. 2) Apples for the Students. 3) SHARES program. In order to participate:

1) Come in and buy the gift card. Equal money-straight across. We get the discount profit.

2) You MUST turn in your receipts for this one. Receipts from Oct. 31-Dec. 12 must be turned in by Dec. 19. The next opportunity will be from Dec. 13-Jan. 24. We accumulate 1 point for every $100 you turn in. We have a list of items/books, etc. that can be “purchased” with these points.

3) SHARES card program has changed. If you received a card last year, keep using it until they say you can’t. I have ordered 100 new generic school cards. They will be sending us a check 4 times a year now, instead of monthly deposits.

UNFORTUNATELY, the only way I can give your child credit is through Number 1. The school will still benefit with the other two options. For number 3 we would probably need to go back to turning in receipts (good for #2 as well) with your NAME on them. Then you would get the credit.
